Available Roles

We are looking for an 2nd Line IT Support Technician to join our growing IT Department and build a successful career working in a fast paced, dynamic and team orientated environment.

Your key duties could include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining Active Directory and deploying window server on virtual infrastructure
  • 2nd Line support with a particular focus on networking and infrastructure
  • Delivering IT project work and assisting in rolling out upgrades and new technologies
  • Maintaining the IT infrastructure with a focus on the network, servers and cyber security
  • Supporting the Head of IT with larger IT projects and supervision of the IT team
  • Working on Apple Products such as, iPhones, Mac’s and iPad’s
  • Liaising with 3rd party vendors
  • Working on our multiple sites across Manchester, Europe and the Far East

What we look for

Candidates must be ambitious, driven and enthusiastic with an interest in pursuing a career in a leading international business. Application requirements:

  • Recent IT or Computing degree (or equivalent) is essential, preferably at 2:1 or above.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications including Windows 10/11, Server 2008 R2/2016 and Office 2016 (essential).
  • Active Directory maintenance
  • Exposure to virtual infrastructure and VMWare, VSphere
  • Exposure to back up technologies such as Veeam
  • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of programming and relational databases (essential)
  • Understanding the of basic networks (essential)
  • Excellent communication skills with a willingness to interact with users on a regular basis
  • At least 2 year’s work experience ideally within an office environment
  • Mature and able to work in a timely manner with minimal supervision
