The Role

We have a new job opportunity available within our IT and Process Development Team to assist in Data Analysis, Reporting Production, Development and Enhancement.

This team strive to use technology and bespoke software to:

  • Improve business information
  • Streamline reporting processes and tools
  • Remove long winded manual reporting
  • Integrate external reporting systems to speed up our supply chain
  • Enhance employee productivity

Support the Process Development Director with all things surrounding GDPR:

  • Annual internal Audits
  • Implementation and monitoring of policies related to Data Protection
  • Monitoring and resolving queries around GDPR
  • Ensure Data Protection is considered at concept stage for internal projects or when new external software is being considered.

Working alongside the Process Development Director and Head of BI & Reporting, as a Data Analyst & GDPR Specialist you will use your Reporting Skills to build reporting systems and tools to provide a wide range of information across our Global company. The role will cover a broad spectrum of reporting skills and software’s, but it is a necessity of the role that the person is competent in SQL.

You will be working on a variety of briefs that will enhance your current skills and broaden your knowledge and wider reporting experience.

Key Duties Include

  • Support and maintain current reports, reporting tools and reporting systems
  • Design and build new reports
  • Work with departments and users to identify new reporting solutions

This role is ideal for a person looking to develop and become a multi skilled data analyst who is providing essential business information to all levels of the organisation.

  • Degree at 2:1 or above in either Business Information Technology, Mathematics or similar.
  • Minimum 1 Years’ work experience within an office-based environment
  • Skills including:
  • SQL – essential
  • Crystal Reports – essential
  • Microsoft Excel – essential
  • Power BI – Desirable
  • Numerical skills
  • Strong data skills, to include analysis, querying, cleansing and reporting
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to use excel for analysing data
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Assertive and confident with a proactive approach to work
  • Local to Greater Manchester
