Ultimate Products are looking for talented and career-driven graduates to join our development programme as a Graduate E-Commerce Merchandiser. We recognise that grads often have a fantastic array of transferable skills but lack experience, career direction and role-specific training. That’s where we come in. The UP graduate programme combines on the job training with regular reviews, mentoring and development plans to give our grads the best possible first step on the career ladder.

Key Responsibilities

As Ecommerce Merchandiser, you will be providing essential support to the Head of Online and the Managing Director in the implementation of the Company’s Ecommerce strategy. Focus areas include:

  • Forecasting and analysing data to drive additional business through our ecommerce channels across many European countries
  • Identifying buying/selling trends in the online market and acting on opportunities for business growth
  • Completing forecasting reviews and ensuring the correct stock is readily available for customers
  • Researching consumer trends and optimisation of online accounts and ecommerce listings on platforms such as Amazon and Groupon
  • Working with departments including Buying, Design and Merchandising to coordinate the customer account set up process and arrange product samples for online listings
  • Working with our Warehouse team to communicate order activity for our online vendors and direct to consumer accounts

This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work within our fastest growing division and contribute towards the development of the business’ online strategy. You will be working with cutting edge products on the consumer market as well as our major customer accounts including Amazon, Ebay and Groupon. What we look for

Candidates must be ambitious, driven and enthusiastic with an interest in pursuing a career in a leading international business. Application requirements:

  • A degree essential at 2:1 or above. All specialisms considered
  • Minimum 6-12 months experience either full time or part time
  • The most important bit is your talent, determination and drive, bring that with you and we can provide you with the tools to succeed
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Assertive and confident with a proactive approach to work
  • Local to Greater Manchester
