Ultimate Products are looking for talented and career-driven graduates to join our development programme as a Graduate Sales Merchandiser. We recognise that grads often have a fantastic array of transferable skills but lack experience, career direction and role-specific training. That’s where we come in. The UP graduate programme combines on the job training with regular reviews, mentoring and development plans to give our grads the best possible first step on the career ladder.

Key Responsibilities

As Graduate Sales Merchandiser you will help to manage stock levels for our different product divisions, completing key forecasting reviews and data management to ensure the correct stock is available for our customers. You will also act as the key contact for our major accounts, providing excellent customer service and support.

  • Managing stock levels for specific product divisions including housewares, luggage, kitchenwares, audio and electrical products.
  • Taking ownership of key customer accounts, negotiating and reviewing customer forecasts and identifying strong/poor sellers.
  • Liaising with customers over the phone and in face to face meetings, keeping our serviceability high at all times and assisting with solutions to potential problems.
  • Analysing sales data to identify trends, seasonality, product strengths and potential issues, and taking action using these results.
  • Analysing performance data to generate key Board KPIs.
  • Regularly reviewing the Order Book to check current sales, stock levels and outstanding customer orders, escalating any concerns to the relevant Senior.

What we look for

Candidates must be ambitious, driven and enthusiastic with an interest in pursuing a career in a leading international business. Application requirements:

  • A degree essential at 2:1 or above. Specialisms such as Maths, Economics or Business are desired.
  • Minimum 6-12 months experience either full time or part time
  • The most important bit is your talent, determination and drive, bring that with you and we can provide you with the tools to succeed
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Assertive and confident with a proactive approach to work
  • Local to Greater Manchester
