We are looking for someone with a passion for IT to join our growing IT team to commence a very varied career within IT. The role is extremely varied and will give you a broad and varied skill set within IT to enable you to gain a full and rounded understanding.
– Active Directory and Group Policy
– Knowledge of DHCP/DNS
– Windows Server 2016/2019, Exchange 2016
– Good understanding of networking
Involvement in project work and assisting in roll out of new technologies
Assist in maintaining the IT infrastructure and recommend improvements
Take responsibility in assisting first line support with
Working on our multiple sites across Manchester, Europe and the Far East
Working on Apple related products such as iPhone’s, Mac’s and iPad’s
Working on the Telephony and other communication networks
Liaising with 3rd party support/vendors and maintaining good relationships
What we look for
Recent degree qualification at 2:1 or above. All specialisms considered
At least 6 months’ work experience, ideally within an office-based environment
A passion for all things IT and a strong interest in building a career in IT
Excellent communication skills and a willingness to engage and interact with people at all levels in a face to face manner
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills
Adaptable with a “do what it takes” attitude to completing tasks within set deadlines
Assertive and confident with a passion to learn
