The role

Due to huge growth in the business, Ultimate Products are now seeking a creative and commercially-minded individual to join our in-house Design team as a Video and Post Production Producer.

Within this role you’ll have the opportunity to produce engaging video content which will receive world-wide exposure through national TV campaigns, international in-store video screens and online web video.

Key Responsibilities

The Video and Post Production Producer is responsible for facilitating the creation of all video commercials for product ranges across the business. You will provide guidance to internal departments on the latest VT methods and designs in order to enhance Company brands and increase exposure. Working alongside other departments including our Buying and Concept teams, you will coordinate the video production process; acting as director, camera operator and audio and lighting technician for all VT shoots.

  • Work with our Buyers to identify products which require VT.
  • Consult with Buying teams to obtain an understanding of the product and the specifications involved.
  • Produce a script and story boards for potential VT shoots, preparing props, music and studio equipment.
  • Produce video content for our product commercials within our studio space, including directing models/actors and filming videos and coordinating lighting.
  • Post-produce the VT including all offline/online edits and dubbing.
  • Post all VT on the Ultimate Products YouTube channel and other relevant websites to enhance viewership.
  • Lend technical support for the implementation of video screens intended for point of sale use and at trade shows.

What we look for

  • Experience of end to end VT production, preferably within a retail environment.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of common video and audio file formats and compression types for Company VT requirements.
  • Up-to-date working knowledge of the latest video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Audition.
  • Good understanding of animation and CGI is essential.
  • Good understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is advantageous.
  • Awareness of current trends in VT commercials within the retail industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both written for scriptwriting and verbal for directional purposes.
  • Flexibility to work on brand to the individual video styles of distinct brands.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
