We are passionate about product

To offset our cardboard and paper usage we have introduced a commercial initiative, that means when certain products from our ranges are purchased by consumers, the business will plant a tree on behalf of the consumer, through one of Ecologi’s global schemes.

We are continually reducing and improving our packaging

Always improving and extending the life cycle of each item we produce

Our focus is to minimise waste through thorough careful assessment

Did you know?

We are continually reviewing our products to extend the life cycle of every item we produce. We listen to customer feedback and are always looking to evolve our processes and procedures.

Reducing and Improving our Packaging

Waste reduction is not only an issue for consumers, at Ultimate products we try to reduce the impact that our products have on the environment by continually reviewing our packaging.

Our Buying teams have been working tirelessly with our suppliers to remove all unnecessary packaging from our products. In a short amount of time, we have made fantastic progress
towards removing single-use plastics and polystyrene from our products’ inner packaging.
We are always searching for new sustainable solutions; in our distribution centre we have been switching out non-recyclable inner carton packaging items, replacing them with recyclable paper or card to reduce our use of single-use plastics and bubble wrap.

Improving Product Quality

We pride ourselves on always offering our customers an excellent level of service and high-quality products. This is a core value of our business.

We are always looking for ways to improve and extend the life cycle of each item we produce. Consumer feedback is a fundamental part of this process. We collate data from our customer service team, VYPR and Amazon reviews to monitor how satisfied our customers are with the final product. Better feedback highlights a better quality of product and an enhanced customer experience. In turn this will decrease product return rates, reducing our overall carbon footprint.

What about WEEE waste?

As a producer of electrical appliances WEE waste (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) is an inevitable part of our business. Our focus is to minimise waste through thorough careful assessment before placing items into WEE waste. We have introduced new means to strip returned products for spare parts, enabling us to reuse or recycle as much of the product as possible. We now work with a product reconditioning partner to refurbish or recycle electrical items for resale, diverting these items from landfill.
