Martin Yaffe International was established in 1987 and supplied retailers in the UK, Europe and beyond. It specialised in designing, manufacturing and distributing a range of character licensed toy products featuring popular children’s characters such as Bob the Builder, Thomas the Tank Engine and Dora the Explorer. In September 2009, the housewares business of Martin Yaffe International Limited was transferred to Ultimate Products as part of their continued plan for expansion and growth.
With Martin Yaffe, Ultimate Products acquired a number of licenses including Me to You, Disney, Swan and Beldray. Beldray is an anagram of the original company ‘Bradley and Co Ltd’; the first manufacturer of steel ironing tables in the UK and the inventor of the ironing board with adjustable height. The Beldray range also now includes vacs, steamers, steam cleaners, ironing boards, airers and pedal bins.
