Ultimate Products are delighted to have signed up to Oldham Council’s Fair Employment Charter – a commitment to create employment opportunities that are fair, ethical, responsible and sustainable. As a company we have always been committed to supporting the local economy and it’s local people, with many of our team living in the borough and surrounding areas. Oldham Council Leader, Jean Stretton, paid a visit to Manor Mill for a tour that included the recently refurbished 20,000sqft showroom and met with CEO Simon Showman to present the company with the charter. Simon was delighted to welcome Councillor Stretton to the Mill and said “Our business is becoming more globally recognised as we see continued growth – but we believe in supporting our local community, helping local residents and giving them the best chance for themselves and their families. “We’re providing new and fair job opportunities for local graduates through our successful Graduate Development Scheme and we are looking to increase this over the next six months with more job opportunities as our company continues to grow.
